Facebook the world’s biggest social networking platform has been pushing the Stories attribute as they have been testing this feature for some time now. It is trying to make it simpler for users to find out whether any of their friends are keen on attending the events or not.
Facebook with the announcement of this feature has also introduced some new stickers and frames to celebrate both International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.
What Does It Mean For The Users?
With the feature now available Facebook users can post an event to Stories by simply clicking on the “Share” button under their Facebook page’s date and time. The Stories message to your event is going to have a sticker that would give all the necessary details about the upcoming event.
The events in stories will also have a tappable box by which your friends will be able to have the ability to interact and notify the user if they are interested in attending the event or not. The standard Stories attributes will be accessible as well, so it’s going to be possible to include text and stickers on the story for your event to offer additional context about it.
Users will be able to find a list of friends who have reacted or have shown an interest in attending the event. Once you get to know who all are interested, you can conveniently start a group chat with all of them. This way it would be simpler to set up everything with friends who are interested in attending the event.
This feature, for now, is only available on the mobile version of Facebook.
