Some upgrades were introduced by Google recently in the Google Ads app, which will allow users to create and manage campaigns and create more types of advertisements.
Given below is a synopsis of what was announced.
Responsive Search Ads
An upgrade regarding search ads came out this week, which states that it will allow users to create Responsive Search Ads via the Google Ads app.
“So if you’re on your morning train and need to launch a last-minute holiday promotion, you can write the creative, fine-tune the headline and set bids and budgets–right from your mobile phone!”
New Recommendations and Notifications
New recommendations from the Google Ads app will allow users to execute the following actions:
- Insertion and deletion of negative or new keywords.
- Pause or enable keywords based on their performance.
- Ability to select all the smart bidding strategies.
The app will also send notifications if there are any new upgrades or opportunities to better the performance across all accounts.
Local Campaigns
Advertisers belonging to small scale and medium scale companies will now have the ability to use Google Ads’ local campaigns.
Google is improvising ad formats in local campaigns so as to assist companies to highlight the specific products or services they are offering.
Advertising on Google Maps
As we all know, search ads are already visible on Google Maps, but the new update will allow businesses to serve their ads in more places within Google Maps.
Companies placed nearby can promote their products or services while users are planning to travel by the same route.
According to the update, ads will also appear in Maps search suggestions. Placement of these ads entirely relies on the person and what region in the map they are viewing or whatever they have searched in the past.
