FACEBOOK MARKETING FOR SMALL and MID-SIZE ENTERPRISES (SMEs)

Is your business on Facebook? If not, then you are missing on a massive opportunity to upscale your business. Every business today (whether big or small) are competing hard to make their presence felt in front of their target audience. The reason why brands want to be on Facebook is that it is one of the biggest social media platforms today, where a lot of people spend most of their day’s time on. Numerous brands see this as an opportunity to market their products and services.

How to go about it?

First things first, create a Facebook page with your company name on it. After the creation is done, it is time to invite your friends so that you can have a bit of a following on your page. You can even ask some of your close friends to invite their Facebook contacts to like and follow your page. Start creating engaging content, take pictures of what you are working on behind the scenes (BTS) videos.

Initially, what these businesses do is that they start educating the masses about their product or services and then try to build relationships while engaging with them. Anyone could ask you about a product or service that you provide by commenting on a Facebook post. What you need to do here is that you need to be very professional in responding to queries/complaints, also keeping in mind the response time. People do keep a check on how frequently you are in responding while interacting with your clients on Facebook.

The other reason how your business can build a strong presence on Facebook is by showing people some BTS (behind the scenes) videos of your new products that are coming out or might have launched recently or even how your employees work in your environment. People are usually curious and would love to see how these products (that they are using) are made. This helps in creating transparency among your consumers and who knows they all might decide on choosing you or your services instead of your competitors.

Once you get all these things working, the next step would be to advertise your Facebook page so you can promote it to as many people as you can, be based on their location, interests, behavior, demographics, etc.

The idea is to get more and more people to know and interact with your brand and build a loyal follower base.
